CREATING A CULTURE OF SELF-CARE

CANCELLED - March 27, 2020

As a first-year counselor, I was one of 15 counselors in the state to be selected to present at the Maryland School Counseling Association Annual State Conference. The presentation, "Creating a Culture of Self-Care", details the process of integrating self-care activities across the school. Specifically, it provides recommendations for self-care among students, staff, and counselors, which benefits students both directly and indirectly via modeling.
Unfortunately, the conference was ultimately cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic
